ABOUT

Born and raised in South Carolina. Growing up, my closest companion was always a book. I never had any interest in anything else. As I started to get older, I began to branch out and accept other methods of entertainment, such as television or even retail therapy; however, I was still a serious homebody. I did not attempt to come out of my shell until university. I attended Winthrop University for both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in English Literature and Language.

While attending Winthrop, I worked as a tutor in the university's Writing Center to strengthen my editing skills and help other students perfect their writing process.

Fast forward to a year after graduating, I began my bookstagram account during the beginning of the global pandemic. Since starting @_bibliotherapy, I have made countless friends, added some incredible literature to my TBR, and expanded my own taste in genres. I can't imagine where I would be now without the bookstagram community, and I will forever be grateful to it.

As a whole, my style reflects the academia aesthetic (dark, light, and chaotic at times). My hobbies include serving looks and reading books, but not always in that order.
