Today is the halfway point of winter, and I’m linking up with Modern Mrs. Darcy to share what’s saving my life right now. Winter can be a difficult season, but I think it’s important to continue to practice gratitude and positive thinking, even on the coldest, darkest days.
Alright everyone, 2017 is off to a great start for me reading wise. Settle in, get comfortable, because I have quite the list of January reads.
I mentioned in this month’s favourites that I’ve been a big smoothie fan lately. I’ve experimented with quite a few combinations, but this is my absolute favourite currently. It really tastes like summer. It’s also full of a myriad of vitamins and other nutritional benefits. You need this smoothie in your life this winter.
WINTER IS ROUGH. Have I mentioned that? I feel like I have. Once or twice at least. But I’m going to say it again. On one hand I love winter. Everything looks so pretty covered in white, especially from inside my warm and cozy house. However, winter also means waking up early to start my car, shoveling, dry skin, dry hair, dry throat, driving to and from work in the dark, cold wet feet, you get the picture right? I think we are all a little more likely to feel down during the winter months. So today I’m sharing a few ideas that will hopefully brighten these cold, dark days!
