Good morning and happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a lovely week. I am in a particularity good mood because today is my Friday and I’m about to head off for a long weekend getaway. So to end the work week on a good note, here are my favourites from November!
Yoga With Adriene
I have officially decided I hate the gym. I am not the type of girl to run on the treadmill or lift weights, and I never have been. Until university I danced competitively, and during university I participated in various exercise classes (which I actually loved!). Now I don’t have any of those options. For the past year I tried to force myself into a gym routine. But honestly it was a huge source of anxiety, guilt and general unpleasantness. So finally I decided to get back into yoga on my own. Thank God for Adriene. I love her videos. I actually look forward to doing them every night. And exercise no longer feels like a chore. (Sidenote – don’t believe anyone who tells you yoga is not a real workout. I am soooore after doing these videos)
They legit make everything better. I put them everywhere I can think of. With it getting dark so early, I find it so comforting to come home and turn on all my lights. They make everything seem so warm and cozy. Yes, my electricity bill is ridiculous the entire month of December, but can you really put a price on happiness?
Except I don’t actually ever consume it. During the winter my skin is CRAZY dry. So coconut oil is my one stop shop for all things beauty. I wash my face with it, I moisturize with it, I exfoliate with it, and I use it as a hair mask. Also, so much cheaper than my Sephora addiction.
Of course, I cannot find this is my hometown. So I need to buy it by the case whenever I return to civilization. I was never a big white wine drinker, but this stuff has me falling head-over-heels in love with Chardonnay. It is also so reasonably priced (I think, I also think it’s normal to spend $30 on a bottle of wine, so maybe don’t trust my opinion).
