Ever since I started my bullet journal this January, I’ve been trying to officially track my goals. I started off strong and of course, two months later, my tracking is sporadic at best. I clearly need someone to hold me accountable. Who else is better at this then the entire blogging community/internet?! My intent from here on is to track my monthly goals. Here are my goals for March.
8 Glasses a Day
Everyone knows we’re supposed to drink AT LEAST 8 glasses of water a day. I am not great at this. Some days I’m awesome, other days I probably drink no more than four. The most irritating part is that I can notice the difference. On days when I don’t drink enough water I usually feel sluggish and tired, get massive headaches, and feel extremely bloated. Why would I do this to myself?!
I used to be a reallllly good journaller. However, I’ve noticed that I only journal when I’m super stressed about life (honestly my journal reads like I’m the worlds most narcissistic drama queen). Journalling always makes me feel more calm, so I’m working on doing it even when I don’t NEED to feel calm, instead of waiting for my world to implode to utilize this self care tool.
No Social Media in Bed
Especially in the morning. I have to get up for work realllllly early, and I honestly hate it. When it is cold and dark out it is really hard to leave the warm, safe cocoon that is my bed. So naturally, I usually spend 20 minutes “catching up” on social media before I get up. This is an AWFUL habit. First of all, consuming massive amounts of social media first thing in the morning is not setting me up for a good day. Second, I usually wait too long to get out of bed and show up slightly late to work looking less than put together. Now seems like a good time to break this habit once and for all.
